Fiona McBain is a singer, songwriter and sound woman.

Fiona has shared the stage with musical legends such as Elvis Costello, Levon Helm, Donald Fagan, Phoebe Snow, Alison Krauss, Emmylou Harris, Diana Krall, Ralph Stanley, The Avett Brothers, Ryan Adams and Bob Weir to name a few.

She was a founding member of the Americana-roots band "Ollabelle" who were championed by T Bone Burnett and signed to his imprint on Columbia Records. Ollabelle toured the USA extensively and went on to make 3 studio records and a live recording.

Fiona was also a founding member of trio "The Big Bright". The Big Bright made a luscious, dreamy recording of 80s new-wave songs called "I Slept Thru the 80s". Their covers have been featured on TV shows such as CBS's "Criminal Minds" and the recent "Charmed" in the USA.

Fiona also sings with bassist Mike Visceglia who is best known as long-time musical director for Suzanne Vega. Mike and Fiona recorded as duo "Then There Were Two" and made a CD of cover songs with just electric bass and voice. Their recordings were often featured on Tom Petty's Sirius Radio program, hand-picked by Mr Petty.

Fiona's most recent venture is a collection of murder ballads with long-time friend, collaborator (and fellow band-member in The Big Bright), singer/songwriter Liz Tormes. Liz and Fiona's new recording is finished and will soon be released. Their project has the working title  "Brooklyn-Sydney".

Stay tuned!
